Introduction

Department of Training & Technical Education, Government of India, in its endeavor to provide technical and skilled manpower suited to various needs of industry , is implementing Craftsman Training Scheme to impart training in technological and industrial skills through Industrial Training Institutes spread all over India. The Craftsman training scheme was introduced by Government of India in 1950 to ensure a steady flow of skilled workers in different trades for the domestic industry, to raise quantitatively and qualitatively the industrial production through systematic training, to reduce unemployment among the educated youth by providing them employable training, to cultivate and nurture a technical and industrial attitude in the minds of younger generation. The scheme is vital in the field of vocational training, as it has been shaping Craftsman to meet the existing as well as future manpower needs through the vast network of ITIs in the Country.

About Us

GLOBAl I.T.I was found in 2007 in Dhanbad town, The coal city of JHARKHAND. It wa born of the mission andforesighttedness of the society and was nutured by the selfless and dedicated effort of the founder and chairman of the trust. It was a cherished desire of the - "LOK VIKAS TRUST" to establish a technical Institute to benefit the SC/ST and backward communities in particular and the whole nation in general in the hard and competitive age with the menancing problem on unemployment, it was felt to be the most buring need of the times to prepare the present generation conforming to the requirements of the mordern times. Thus the ides was conceived and after much sweat and toil the LVT achived its goal in 2007. After its establishment the society applied to the state Govt. and took no objection from the state Govt. and approval from the D.G.E.T New Delhi.

The aim of the institute is to impart technical training approved by NCVT to make the educated unemployed youth suitable for industrial employment in India as well as gainful self employment. Industry need not only engineers but also thousand of skilled labours. Skilled labours are backbone of industry indeed. Many projects are facing manpower shortage on account of which project execution is getting affected. To combat a chronic shortage of skilled man power GLOBAL I.T.I. is one of the most innovative vocational training centre with excellent teaching and training resources.
